Our reputation is built on reliable solutions and exceptional client service. We're looking for an Office Manager who will help us maintain that standard as we continue to grow.
About the Role:
With our current Office Manager preparing for retirement, we're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional to work directly with our President and manage our daily office operations.
This position combines accounting, office management, and client service. As a small, established business, we need someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, making decisions independently, and keeping things running smoothly.
The first three months will focus on training and learning our systems, clients, and operations. Over time, you'll assume greater responsibility and become a trusted partner in managing the business.
What You'll Do.
Accounting & Financial Operations:
- Code transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records in Sage.
- Review financial information for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
- Serve as the primary contact for our outside CPA partner, coordinating accounting, billing, and payroll information.
- Keep financial records organized and provide reliable information to support business decisions.
Office Management & Operations:
- Manage daily office operations, including client communications, purchasing, and administrative needs.
- Make routine decisions, improve processes, and keep the office running efficiently.
Client Experience:
- Develop client follow-up and feedback processes to strengthen long-term relationships.
- Ensure client inquiries and service requests are properly documented and followed through to completion, working alongside our Technical Administrator.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in accounting and bookkeeping; Sage experience is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
- Confident, independent problem-solver who takes initiative.
- Energetic, personable, and positive, with a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
- Comfortable learning new software and technology.
Benefits:
- Life insurance.
- Paid vacation and sick time.
- Paid holidays.
- 401(k) retirement plan.
- Family gym membership.
Why Sound Solutions?:
We're a small team with a long history, strong client relationships, and decades of consistent growth. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, work directly with company leadership, and help improve how we operate.
